The stunning blue Madeleine Medical Alert ID bracelet is a modern watch style bracelet, made in soft blue genuine leather. The strap is 10mm in width. The stainless steel plate is silver featuring the international medic alert symbol in red. The plate is attached with a matching blue suede cord.

The stainless-steel engraving plate can be simply flipped over to show your personalised details. All our tags are engraved in-house and you can choose the wording that best suits your condition. Who is my bracelet named after?

Madeleine Brès (November 26, 1842 – November 30, 1921), The first French woman to obtain a medical degree. During her career, she worked as a professor of hygiene and taught headmistresses of nursery schools in the city of Paris. She headed the journal Hygiene of the Woman and the Child, and was the author of several childcare books. On a mission for the Internal Minister, she left for Switzerland to study the organization and function of crèches. On 28 May 1893, the first crèche in France was opened by Théophile Roussel, on Nollet Road, in the Batignolles district. She died at the age of 79, in poverty.
