Can my item be engraved?
Yes. We engrave on the reverse of the steel medical alert plate.
Up to 3 lines with maximum of 25 characters per line
The engraving plate is there for the essential, critical information paramedics, first responders and potentially even members of the public or schools need in an emergency. In the event of an emergency, the universal medical alert symbol on the front of your bracelet will alert medics to vital information. The plate is easily flipped over to reveal the engraving.
We suggest you include:
- Your name
- Any CRITICAL medical conditions, allergies or drugs that might affect how you are treated in an emergency (such as blood thinners)
- An ICE contact number - preferably a mobile
ICE stands for 'In Case of Emergency'. Emergency Services are also trained to look for ICE contacts in your phone so make sure it's in there too. Both android and iPhones will allow access to ICE contacts even when the phones are locked.

Who is my bracelet named after?
OCTAVIA HILL (1838 – 1912)
The founder of social work Octavia Hill believed that living in a community with open spaces and neighbours to ‘look out’ for each other is as important to people’s health and wellbeing as living in a clean, light, well-maintained home. She was also a great believer in helping people to help themselves.
Octavia set up her first group of houses for the poor in central London in 1864. She collected rents personally, taking time to talk to the residents and listen to any problems they may be facing. She set up play areas and activities for the children, women and older people. In this way, Octavia pioneered a new approach to social housing and her methods were used in a number of different countries.
Octavia Hill also successfully campaigned to preserve and create some of the most famous parks and open spaces in London, and co-founded the National Trust in 1885.
I was so excited when this arrived. Then I see this gorgeous and very professional packaging. Now my expectations are higher. Luckily, the bracelet is well crafted and gorgeous. Since this is an all-the-time wear, it really needs to be durable and it is. Thank you so much for making me happy to wear a med alert.
I ordered a custom size as I have extremely small wrists, and when it was still a bit too big for me, Shelley changed the fastening for free and it fits perfectly now! It's gorgeous. After realising that I probably should be wearing a medical alert bracelet, I thought all of them were boring or obviously medical, or broadcasted the fact that I have medical issues. Finding these bracelets was brilliant and I already want to buy more - a sentence I never thought I'd say about a medical alert bracelet!
Really helpful when I got my measurements wrong. Nice bracelet
I did a lot of research for a medical bracelets for my mum - I didn’t want her to look like Del Boy with a big chain and some of the really delicate ones didn’t look like an alert bracelet so I was worried it could be missed by medics. This Hill Green Leather bracelet is perfect as it’s feminine, delicate but also is clearly depicted with the ‘medic’ symbol on the front plate. The bracelet is also very well made and comfortable to wear, according to my mum. She really likes it and she didn’t even want to wear one in the first place!
