Who is my bracelet named after?
Emmie Rixon: Emmie is just 6 years old. Like many girls her age she loves to dance, sing and swim. She has a vivid imagination and often requests to be called Princess Emmie or Teacher Emmie for the day! Emmie is enthusiastic, determined and loving. She has a genetic, multi systemic condition called Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy, which will mean that one day she will be in unable to do the things she loves, however Emmie will never let this debilitating condition define her. Together with her amazing family Emmie is working hard to raise awareness and ultimately find a cure for this poorly recognised condition. This is a special bracelet named after a very special lady.
